CAS(ME)²

CAS(ME)² (Chinese Academy of Sciences Macro-Expressions and Micro-Expressions) is a database containing both macro- and micro-expressions in long videos, enabling research on spotting/recognizing micro-expressions from long video streams. It provides long videos (Part A: 87 long videos with spontaneous macro/micro-expressions) and cropped samples (Part B: 300 macro-expression samples and 57 micro-expression samples). Emotion labels are based on a combination of action units (AUs), self-reported emotion for each facial movement, and the emotion types of emotion-evoking videos; baseline results are also provided.
